Dreams are worth fighting for…

dreamsDreams are worth fighting for. They’re worth staying up and working out at midnight for. They’re worth getting less sleep for. They’re worth facing our fears for.

My dream… YES, it IS to win the Mrs. Virginia pageant… but honesty, that’s just a very small piece of it! I’m working so hard! Hours a day to finish my book, Let Go of the Fear. Working on my computer while feeding the baby at the same time, grabbing snacks for the littles and taking care of them, getting my workouts in, trying to stay on top of my pages, trying to learn more about the beauty world… makeup… clothing colors and choices… trying to get sponsors to help defray the huge costs of the pageant.

But WHY? Why would I do ALL of this while navigating time with my 6 kids and leading my growing team of entrepreneurs?

Because when you have a life that’s been touched by fear… no… RULED by fear… and you discover HOW to let go of that fear… to walk through your fears and with them??? You want to shout it from the mountain tops.

You want to go to every woman you know and say… you are NOT alone. You don’t HAVE to be afraid! There IS a way out of the fear!!!!

So yes… THAT is why I am up at midnight working out. I’m doing what it takes to give winning this crown my BEST shot. Because if I win this crown??? I’ll have a platform from which to speak to even MORE woman on how important it is and how we CAN learn to let go of the fear and LIVE FEARLESSLY!
